5 Amazing Outdoor Proposal Ideas Your Significant Other Will Love

If you’re getting pretty serious with your significant other and are starting to think about ways to propose, it can get overwhelming trying to find a proposal idea that they’ll love. If your significant other loves the outdoors and would love an outdoor proposal this Summer, you’ve come to the right article. Outdoor proposals are so romantic and intimate. There are so many ideas and options to choose from it can be hard to pick just one. Here are 5 amazing outdoor proposal ideas your significant other will love.

Creative Outdoor Proposal Ideas

Go on a Hike

This one might seem unusual because hikes aren’t always romantic. If it’s a strenuous hike, you both might be exhausted and sweaty by the time the proposal happens. That’s why you should pick the hiking trail carefully. Make sure it isn’t too hard or too long. Have someone with a camera at the top waiting for the two of you. You can have friends and family ahead of you setting up a romantic scene at the top of the trail. There can be a lovely meal, a blanket, and some drinks. This is a hike that won’t soon be forgotten.

Have a Romantic Picnic for Two

Find a secluded spot with room for a nice picnic that the two of you can share. Plan your significant other’s favorite meal and make it yourself. Have music playing in the background and maybe some candlelight. Cuddle with a blanket and get ready to pop the question! She’s guaranteed to say yes!

Go Star Gazing

There are so many beautiful stars to gaze at. Drive to a spot where the stars can be easily seen and city lights won’t make them dimmer. Start a fire to stay warm and bring s’mores supplies. Have fun looking at all the different constellations and see how many you can name. You can even make up your own constellations! When your significant other is looking up at the stars, get down on one knee.

Create Your Own Theater

Get a projector and set it up in your backyard. Put a love sac and blankets out to sit on. You can show her favorite movie and get all of her favorite snacks too. If you are tech savvy, you can make your own movie about how much you love her and then pop the question when the movie ends. You can keep the movie forever and watch it again and again!

Create a Romantic Scavenger Hunt

Write clues that will lead your significant other from one spot to the next. You could have a clue telling them to go to the spot you first kissed, or first said “I love you” to one another. They will go from spot to spot collecting clues. Be waiting at the end of the scavenger hunt wearing your best looking clothes. This is a fun idea because it really builds up the suspense for the final clue and the big ending.

Summing Up

Asking someone to marry you is a big deal. You want to make sure it’s done perfectly. There are so many ideas you can choose from and they will all be wonderful. These outdoor proposal ideas are a great place to start. Your significant other will love all the time and effort you put into your proposal. These outdoor proposal ideas will help you have a proposal that you’ll both remember forever.
