The manufacturer’s 32-inch model listing gives overall dimensions of 32 by 32 by 19.7 inches with the lid, or 14.4 inches high without it. The bowl itself is listed as 22.6 inches square and 4.5 inches deep. The package list includes a log grate, poker, lid and weather cover; it does not list a cooking grate.
These details correct the older article’s repeated “height” measurement. Compare the actual model and package with the listing rather than assuming every square Yaheetech pit shares the same accessories.
Deck and lawn use
Yaheetech specifies a noncombustible surface and explicitly says not to use this model on lawns, wooden decks or indoors. A mat or loose tiles do not override that restriction. Obtain the full manual for its clearance requirements and follow local fire rules before lighting it.
Allow room for people to move without stepping close to the hot bowl. Keep children and pets away and supervise the fire throughout use. Neither a wide rim nor a mesh screen means that surfaces remain safe to touch.
Cooking claims need a separate check
A log grate supports fuel; it is not automatically a food-contact grill. If cooking is essential, ask Yaheetech which cooking accessory, fuel and procedure are approved for your exact unit. A photograph of food over a fire does not establish what arrives in the box.
Do not fill the bowl beyond its prescribed fuel load because the surrounding table appears large. The usable bowl depth and the manual’s operating limits are the relevant constraints.

Inventory the hardware before assembly, follow the tightening sequence and check that the completed cold pit rests firmly on a level surface. Stop if fasteners do not align, a leg is bent or the screen does not seat correctly. Contact the seller for the correct parts instead of modifying holes or forcing the frame together.
Review the bowl underside and joints regularly for damage or serious corrosion. The supplied cover is a storage accessory, not a promise of permanent rust protection. Remove cold ashes as directed, let the unit dry and cover or store it only after it is completely cool.
Who should consider it?
The square footprint can suit a patio arrangement where a decorative border matters, provided the installation meets the manual. It is a poor choice when the only available location is a wooden deck or lawn. Compare replacement-bowl availability, included accessories and the return policy as well as price.
