Item Specifics

The URPOWER 20 LED Solar Lights is very easy and fast to install.  No wiring is required, just simply screw onto the surface (screws are included).  This product can withstand years of rain, snow, ice, and wind.  It includes a powerful 1000mAh 3.7V Li-ion rechargeable battery for up to 10 hours of light on a full charge.  It provides a bright light when motion is detected, which is nice for security and safety protection on your property.  The URPOWER 20 LED Solar Lights is a powerful 20 LED solar light, and has 2 working modes: On/Off.   It will produce a bright light when inside the 3 metre activation zone.   Once motion is detected, the light will stay on for approximately 20 seconds.  It has a sensing range up to 10 feet and a 120 degree sensing angle.  The lights can be positioned 7 feet away from each other.  Along with the solar lights comes four screws and wall plugs, 1 pin (for On/Off switch), and 1 user manual.  This comes with 4 solar lights.

Easy to Install and Adjustable

Customers found that these lights were both easy to install and adjustable.  Here is a comment on the ease of installation, "The install is pretty straightforward. It comes with hardware and anchors, but I used my own. I installed one of them, by each door in the backyard, and another one by my trash bins. I like that you can adjust the angle of the unit so that water doesn't pool on top of it."

Great for Places with No Electric

These lights can be very convenient for those that are either off grid or don't have electric at certain places on their property.  Here is one of the comments about installing them in a place with no electric, "Works great for lighting stairs outside barn and greenhouse in upstate NY. I bent the mounting bracket to point the light and solar panels in optimal directions. Easy and has been super reliable despite our relative lack of sun."

Does Not Need Much Sun to Charge and Work as Motion Detection Lights

A concern with some people, is how much sun will be needed to make them do what they are intended to do.  Customers commented that this light does not take much sun to work as a motion detection light.  Here is one of those comments, "I have had these installed for about 6 months. We purchased 2 - 4 packs for the purpose of lighting a long, heavily-wooded driveway so the teenagers could walk to the bus stop on dark winter mornings without being in the pitch dark. I was concerned they would not get enough sun to recharge, but no issues at all, they all light up as needed.  I like that they only go on with motion to conserve the charge. Honestly, they might get 1 hour of "direct" sun a day - if that - and work fine. We have never cleared snow or ice off of them (another concern), but no problem."

Can't Replace Battery

Unfortunately when these lights wear out, you can't buy another battery.  You will need to buy another light.  The product description says that these lights are good for over 1 year.  A lot will depend on how much that you use the lights.  A customer explains, "The reason I gave this product 4-stars instead of 5 was that you can't replace the rechargeable battery when it wears out."

Battery Holds a Good Charge

A nice feature is that the batteries will hold a charge for a long time, even in places that don't often get full sun.  A customer explains, "The batteries seem more than able to handle cloudy weeks in the dead of winter and still work well throughout the night. That is impressive to me having mixed results with other designs."
