Its size can suit modest meals, but it also limits how much food and how many heat zones fit at once. Char-Griller lists the Patio Pro E1515 with 250 square inches of cooking space, cast-iron grates, a side shelf, wheels, dampers and an ash pan. Its listed overall dimensions are 31.1 inches wide, 41.9 inches high and 24 inches deep. Confirm the model number if comparing an older unit or a retailer’s bundle.
Cooking area alone does not tell you how many people it will feed. Burgers, skewers and a whole chicken occupy the grate differently. Before buying, sketch the food you normally cook and leave room to turn it. The side shelf is useful for staging tools or a tray, but it is not extra grilling capacity.
Heat control on a small grill
The lid and dampers give you more options than a completely open brazier. Even so, a small grate leaves less room to move food away from intense heat. Plan the charcoal arrangement within the manufacturer’s instructions, and do not compensate for limited space by overloading the fire.

Use a site allowed by the manual. The compact dimensions do not imply permission to grill on a balcony or combustible deck. U.S. Fire Administration guidance calls for outdoor charcoal use away from combustible surroundings. Empty the ash pan only when the contents are fully cold, and keep ash handling separate from meal preparation.
Who should consider it?
The Patio Pro is worth comparing for small meals where a compact lidded grill is more useful than a large cart. A larger cooking surface makes more sense if you regularly need substantial indirect-cooking space or serve a group all at once. Inspect dimensions, storage arrangements and replacement-part availability rather than relying on old prices, review counts or promises of trouble-free ownership.
