Common Questions

Here are some top questions that I found for people considering buying a Royal Gourmet Charcoal Grill.

  • chevron-circle-right
How easy is it to clean/dump ashes? Very easy. The whole tray lifts out. However, there is no hole underneath the tray for any liquids to drain out.
  • chevron-circle-right
What is the internal diameter of the smoke stack/chimney?  The diameter of the smoke stack is 3 inches.
  • chevron-circle-right
I know how to grill but does this come with instructions on how to use as a smoker?  This charcoal grill CC1830F is fantastic for smoker beginners. Just put the charcoal and wood chips into main body or side firebox, and get the turkey and any other food you love ready on the cooking grates, then smoking is beginning. What you would do next is to pay attention to the built-in thermometer once an hour, and add some charcoal and wood chips to maintain the temperature when needed. Gourmet smoky food will be ready in 2-4 hours.
