Item Specifics

The Zodiac MX8 Suction-Side Cleaner is very powerful, and has a large debris inlet.  You can adjust how big you want the debris inlet to be.  It connects directly to the skimmer or dedicated 1.5” vacuum line.  It still works well on low flow pumps.  This pool vacuum works well for solar, 2-speed, and variable-speed pumps.  This product can easily clean the entire pool without getting stuck.  It thoroughly cleans the floor, walls, and waterline.  This pool vacuum will work with inground pools of all sizes and shapes.  It has good tires, which allows it to easily go through tight corners and climb vertical walls.  It has a wide cleaning path, so that it can clean your whole pool in a short amount of time.

Works Well but Slow to Clean

If you purchase this pool cleaner, be aware that it may take awhile to get it to clean a pool.  Here is one comment about the time factor, "Works well, takes some time but does a nice job. We are happy with it, we have a 16x30 pool, we leave it in overnight. By morning the pool looks pretty good!"

Good Suction

The Zodiac MX8 Suction-Side Cleaner has good suction according to this customer who reported, "This machine is awesome! Suction is strong, climbs and cleans the walls. My pool looks great, very happy with my purchase."

Price

The price for the Zodiac MX8 Suction-Side Cleaner is good for what you get.  Here is how one customer felt about the  price, "This is doing a great job at half the price of a pressure side or robotic cleaner. I do have to run it on a higher than recommended flow setting to get it to climb the walls but that's no problem. I wish I'd bought this year's ago. Rating would be 5 stars if it would clean my steps too. I'd highly recommend this to anyone and would certainly buy again, it's already paid for its self by saving a good 3 hours a week to vacuum by hand."
