Item Specifics

The Worx Aerocart Multifunction 2-Wheeled Yard Cart is a highly versatile device that will instantly convert, so that it can be used as a wheelbarrow, dolly, flower pot mover, trailer mover, bag holder, and cylinder carrier.  It has over sized, flat-free tires that never need inflating.  Its patented design adjusts center of gravity so that you have a more balanced and easy-to-manage load.  Along with this cart come some accessories.  These Worx Aerocart accessories include a flower pot strap, cylinder holder, bag holder, and mesh rock mover.  This wheelbarrow has durable, all steel construction, and has a weight capacity of 300 pounds.   It has a fold-out extension arm that will help carry flower pots, small trees, mulch bags, straw bales, and other large, awkward items.

Ease of Assembly

Customers thought that this wheelbarrow was very easy to assemble.  There were no tools required, and it comes with everything that you will need.  Here is what one customer thought, “We bought this to use as a dolly in place of an old skateboard that we have used for quite a while. The product was easy to assemble (no tools required) and the design appears well thought out. There are several attachments included that are easy to add/remove (yard waste bag holder, net for lifting heavy objects, etc). The wheel diameter is large enough to allow pulling the dolly up standard steps without rubbing the undercarriage on the stair edges which is nice. Overall a solid, versatile product that is well suited for a residential homeowner that doesn’t want to purchase/store separate wheelbarrows, dollies, etc.”

Small Tub

This wheelbarrow does not have a large tub.  This means that you will not be able to fill this wheelbarrow with too much stuff.  A customer said this, “This is a great design and a quality product—I’d have liked a bigger tub and it would easily accommodate a larger tub. Otherwise it’s a snap to put together and there is ‘quality’ throughout. “

Great for Those Who Have Trouble Lifting Objects

A lot of customers who had back issues or could not lift heavy objects really liked this wheelbarrow.  This wheelbarrow especially got a lot of comments from elderly people who could no longer lift and move heavy items.  Here, a customer explains, “At 70, there are a lot of routine chores in the garden I can no longer do (lifting anything over 5 or 6 pounds, for one) or can do alone (raking and bagging trimmings). The WORX allows me to do those things now, and I love it! I’m still learning how to use it, and it takes a little time to set it up for any specific job, but once that’s done, it’s a dream to use. I’ve lifted and moved potted plants, bagged up lavender trimmings, and look forward to relocating some bagged rocks for borders – all of which would have been impossible without the WORX. Worth every penny!”

Some Customers Said the Wheelbarrow Arrived Dented

A lot of customers who received this wheelbarrow said that when they opened the box, the wheelbarrow was dented.  This may be due to shipping and those who handled the boxes, but some customers wondered about the quality of this wheelbarrow.  These customers also thought that perhaps the wheelbarrow did not get packaged correctly.  Here is what one customer had to say about her experience, “I like this device. I just wish it had not come all dented from poor packaging. I’ll have to take it to a body shop to pound the dents out. Other than that, it’s easy to use, has many uses in my back garden, and saves the strain on my back! Whoever designed it deserves a medal!!”

Taller People Have to Turn the Handles Upside Down

If you are a taller person, you may need to turn the handles the other way around so that they reach up a little higher.  Here is what one customer thought, “We discovered that by swapping the handles, then turning them over and installing on the opposite sides a taller person is more comfortable using it. Easy to use and would recommend it.”

Made for Carrying Lightweight Objects

Although the description says that this product can carry 300 pounds, most customers thought that this wheelbarrow is definitely made for lightweight work.  It is not for serious yard work.  Also, the sling, web net and dolly strap will only hold about 80 pounds.  This means you cannot fit too many items on your wheelbarrow before you are over the weight capacity.  One customer has this to say, “When I got the product and looked at the weight restrictions in its various configurations it became obvious that I should have stuck with my trusty (and inexpensive) wheelbarrow. The sling, web net and dolly strap configurations are limited to 80 pounds. If that is all the weight it will handle, I may as well lift it and put it in the wheelbarrow. Most potted trees and shrubs would exceed the limit. And it doesn’t take much of a landscape boulder to far exceed the limit. It is cute. It is stable. It is just too flimsy.”

Expensive Price, but Worth It

Most customers thought that the price was rather expensive, but because it could easily be pushed and carry objects it was definitely worth the price.  Although this product does have a few cons, such as having a small tub and not working well for large objects, most customers thought that the quality of this wheelbarrow was good.  A customer explains, “Received as promised in excellent condition. A great buy for the price. Easy to assemble and already have put it to use in the garden. Love that it doesn’t topple over like a traditional wheelbarrow and easy for this 65 year old woman to haul bigger loads.”

Nice Tires

The tires on this cart do not need air, and they are flat-free.  This is a nice feature, since it is common for people to always have to add air and buy new tires.  Here is what one customer thought about the tires, “I should say my husband loves it!!! But he thinks I should use it also. That has not happened yet but I’m really glad it is something that he is using and appears to be much more convenient than the old wheelbarrow we had. I love the fact that he will never have to go searching for another tire, or inflate another tire for such a small item. It’s a WINNER!”

The Orange Color May Fade

Although not many customers complained about the color fading, those who did were disappointed that it lost its color.  Here is what one customer had to say, “Works great and makes light work of the heavy loads. We are disappointed that the parts that are orange in color have faded. Though the function is there the appearance is not.”

Good for Rough Terrain

Most customers thought that the Worx Aerocart Multifunction 2-Wheeled Yard Cart worked well on rough terrain.  Although some customers complained that this wheelbarrow did not move well on rough terrain, the majority of customers thought it worked great.  Here is one of the many comments, “It is very easy to move thru loose terrain such as soft dirt, loose gravel and mud. There is no need to back out and go at it again with the stiff-armed lunge and clinched jaw while letting out a groan as one would do with a traditional wheelbarrow.”
