Compare fit and the actual clearing task
Consider whether you will mainly push snow along a walkway or lift it over an edge. A smaller blade may reduce the amount collected per scoop, but you control the load. Wet snow can still be heavy, and no shovel width makes excessive lifting safe.
If possible, check grip comfort with winter gloves and whether the handle length lets you work without an awkward reach. Avoid interpreting “lightweight” as a measured specification when the product’s weight has not been confirmed.
