The warranty covers 12 month parts and labor warranty.  In the unlikely event that this sprinkler quits working or develops a fault, the company will repair or replace the item free of charge. If the sprinkler is older than 12 months they have a national repair service which will give the owner a free estimate for parts and labor to repair the product.

Mixed Reviews on Durability

Many people who bought this sprinkler commented that it was still going strong for several seasons.  But others commented that it appeared very cheap and made mostly of plastic.

Price and Quality

You are going to pay a lot more for this sprinkler than similar sprinklers.  The question that have people talking, is - why are they paying so much for a mostly plastic sprinkler?  Here is one of the many comments on the high price compared to the quality, "This is not worth the price.  I will go with something else especially if I continue to get no response from customer service. Unfortunately I'm disappointed and could've purchased 3 sprinklers for the price of this one.."

Adjustable

The Gardena 1975 Aquazoom Oscillating Sprinkler can be adjusted to go forward, back, left, and right. There are four levers that control these adjustments.  However, you might get wet trying to get this sprinkler adjusted right.  Because it is fast and can go from one extent to another in 15 seconds or so, customers found that it was hard to make adjustments without getting wet.

Good for Saving Water

Customers who were cognizant about wanting to save water, liked how the Gardena 1975 Aquazoom Oscillating Sprinkler performed.  Here is one of the water conservation comments, "Amazing adjustability which is great if you're trying to save water and pinpoint certain areas."

Common Questions

Here are some top questions that I found for people considering buying a GARDENA 1975 Aquazoom Oscillating Sprinkler.

  • chevron-circle-right
Do any of the sprinklers control the height of the water sweep? The older models had a knob but I don't see it on any of these.  There isn't a height adjustment. However you can control height by turning water pressure up or down.
  • chevron-circle-right
Does it have a standard threaded female hose connector, or does it require their plastic snap coupler?   It has standard connector.  For convenience, some people like to use the quick connect couplers, which fit in/on a standard connector.
  • chevron-circle-right
What is the minimum and maximum run times?  There is no time setting on the sprinkler. Time is determined at the water outlet.

After buying one of these aqua zoom sprinklers I was so impressed by its versatility in adjustment of area sprayed and size of the area sprayed that I went and bought a second one. True it is made of plastic but it looks to be high quality not like some of the cheaper rubbish. With regards to getting wet when adjusting them this need not occur if timed right people must be a bit slow in movement.
I bought my first one after buying two other makes at half the price and they both stopped working just outside the warranty period . Thanks Gardena for a great product.
