The Blackstone 3-in-1 Charcoal Grill has three cooking options including the traditional barbecue.  It also features a motorized shish kebob/kebab and adjustable vents that can be used as a meat and fish smoker.   You can also monitor temperatures inside with a built in thermometer.  The Blackstone 3-in-1 Charcoal Grill has a mesquite bed option so that you can raise or lower the hot coals to take advantage of the 11 included 23 inch custom heavy-duty skewers that can synchronize with the built-in motor to make shish kebabs.  With this grill you can cook kabobs and grill at the same time thanks to the 3 section grilling grates. This grill/smoker/rotisserie combination is made to last for many years.  

Motorized Automatic Rotisserie

Possibly the best feature on this grill is the motorized automatic rotisserie.  The rotisserie helps to make the skewers cook well.  Here is what one customer said about the rotisserie, “The best part is the motorized automatic rotisserie, I think that this is the biggest advantage of this grill. This makes every food you put on the skewers cooked perfectly. No need to there the skewers all the time. in addition, the adjustable charcoal bed and the fact that there is a removable pen to clean the grill.”

Lid

There were a lot of reports of the lid not fitting right and being lopsided.  Here is one of the many lid complaints, “Slightly poor quality on the top lid, but everything else is well build. Instructions are ok.”  Others had different complaints about the lid. The lid is definitely an area concern, “Once assembled, I found the unit to be top heavy when the lid is open. I was concerned it would easily tip backward, so I weighted the legs to prevent this from happening. Otherwise, I like the barbecue. I can grill and use the rotisserie at the same time. Also, it works well for both small and family meals.”

Paint Comes off Easily and Easily Bends

There were a lot of complaints of this grill basically just not holding up too well. Here is one of the comments on the paint coming off and the grill bending, “The finish or paint has flaked off all of the back of the grill. It was also bent when I started putting it together! I decided not to return it because I wasn’t going to take it apart again.  Had to bent the pieces back and make it work.”
