A beautiful rose design is featured all over the bench to add both elegance and style to your home. It can endure outdoor weather conditions. The strong base will support up to 500 pounds of weight. Assembly is required. This garden bench measures 42.5″ L x 24″W x 33″H.

Easy Assembly

The majority of customers who assembled this bench thought it was easy to put together. One customer commented, “LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this adorable bench. Once I got all the bolts, screws and nuts sorted and labeled it only took me about 45 min. to put this together by myself. I’m a rather small 70-year-old lady and actually had fun assembling this beautiful bench. We have a fairly large two-story brick traditional house and I purchased this to place in front on one side of our walk. We were so impressed that we decided to order a second one to balance the overall appearance. The bench went together perfectly and easily and exceeded my expectations. Now please excuse me while I take my leave to go order my second beautiful sturdy rose garden bench. 🙂 UPDATE: Got my second “rose” bench in record time and it went together even easier and faster than the first. VERY sturdy and again, beautiful. Only problem is…I can’t think of a good place for a third one. lol”

Rough Edges

There are some rough edges on this bench. A customer shared, “Initially this appeared to be high quality and just what I was looking for. While it is solid and from a distance is very nice, the casting quality is very poor in many places. There are rough edges in the criss-cross sections of the back and seat and one of the arms the casting did not fill the space to where there are several holes and imperfections on the surface where you would rest your arm.”

Bronze Color but Close to Black

If you are wanting a lighter bronze color, just be aware that this bench is closer to black. A customer shared, “This is a good product – reasonably priced, and of good quality. The bench parts are cast aluminum, which eliminates concern about corrosion. The fasteners are steel, coated with what appears to be black oxide, which will protect against corrosion and matches the color of the bench. The bench color is similar to oil-rubbed bronze, very close to black.”

Longevity Questionable

There were reports of this bench coming apart in a short amount of time after purchase. A customer said, “One of the side handlebars broke in less than 90 days after keeping the bench outside in the normal weather conditions. Whatever metal is being used; it has no strength. Best Choice Products warranty is only 60 days! I wish I knew earlier. They do not even have replacement parts. Buy a product from a company who will stand behind their products at least for a year.”

Another person said, “I loved this bench when we first assembled it. After a month of having it and not much use, the left front leg snapped off. I wish it was made stronger as it is truly an adorable bench.”

Can Blow Over

If you have strong winds, keep in mind that this bench can blow over. Just because it is made from metal, doesn’t mean it can’t still blow over. It actually is not that heavy of a bench. The weight is just 31.1 pounds. A customer shared, “We bought this bench for a hosta garden under our deck and love it. It has been great over the summer and has tolerated rain and heat. It can be blown over surprisingly as recently we just had very strong winds and had to go set it back up again, but I would still purchase it!”

My only two (minor) complaints are that the flat seat is not very comfortable, and the legs are not shaped exactly the same as the sections of seat they attached too. That does detract a bit from the overall look. But the bench is a great value, was pretty easy to assemble, and looks like it will hold up. A seat cushion would take care of the comfort issue, and you get a lot of bench for not very much money.
