The seeds I ordered in 2022 have a sell by date of 2020.

The seeds I ordered in 2022 have a sell by date of 2020.
Seeds of Change is dishonest. Like a lot of other reviewers, I received seeds that have a sell by date of 2020 and clearly are marked that they shouldn't be sold beyond that date. I'm going to try to germinate them anyway, and I'll try to update this review later with how much success I had for anyone who's curious, but it's shameful that this vendor would dump old, outdated product on their customers, knowing the germination rate will be lower. If you're considering buying from Seeds of Change, save yourself the trouble and find a more reputable, honest seed company.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best seeds I have purchased! Ever!
Reviewed in the United States on August 22, 2020
I have bought plenty of seeds on here and these actually compelled me to write a review. These were container grown, planted after the last frost here in Philadelphia, probably April. I am literally giving basil to anyone who will take it. Just used Miracle Grow potting soil and fertilizer. I will not waste weeks of my life waiting for other seeds to do something ever again. A+

1.0 out of 5 stars This is NOT Thai Basil!
Reviewed in the United States on June 2, 2021
I got these seeds last year, but could not get them go germinate. I tried again this year and although slow to germinate they finally did, but what grew was not Thai Basil but what appears to be some (flavorless) variant of Dark Opal basil. The package says that these seeds should be good for 5 years due to the resealable pouch. That's all well and good, but they are definitely not Thai Basil, not even close. These dark purple leaves with serrated borders have no flavor apart from a mild bitterness. Either this was a bad/mislabeled batch, or something else is wrong with them. If the seller reads this, I would like a replacement!
