Item Specifics

The Liquid Harvest Lazer Blue Concentrated Spray Pattern Indicator is a non-toxic concentrated colorant designed to be used with herbicides, fungicides, pesticides, and fertilizers.  It indicates where application spray has been made for the most accurate coverage.  The colorant will fade in time with sun and moisture.  This product is not permanent and will not stain once diluted.  Avoid contact with fabric.  The Liquid Harvest Lazer Blue Concentrated Spray Pattern Indicator can be removed from skin and equipment with several washes.  Keep in mind that it mixes only with water-based solutions.  It will not work with oil-based solutions.

Shows You Exactly Where to Spray

The most unique feature about the Liquid Harvest Lazer Blue Concentrated Spray Pattern Indicator is that is shows you where to spray more.  A customer explained, “Works great! Shows me where I’ve hit and where I’ve missed. I end up using a lot less herbicide because I don’t have to guess and just spray again on the same old spot since I wasn’t sure if I had hit it before or not. Also shows when what I’m spraying is beading up or not due to the wrong amount of surfactant. Doesn’t hang around too long on concrete. The one big issue I have with it is that the manufacturer should provide a better way to dispense it.  It gets EVERYWHERE and I mean EVERYWHERE.  Floors, walls, sink, clothes, the ceiling, your brother’s car in storage in Wisconsin, EVERYWHERE.  I suppose other liquids do the same but aren’t as noticeable.  So perhaps it’s a good thing just to let me know that even when I’m trying to be careful with chemicals, they’re getting onto surfaces that I think they’re not.  But I would still prefer a better way to dispense it.”

Do Not Get on Skin

This product is supposed to wash away if it gets on your skin.  But take great care to not get it on your skin.  Skin will absorb into the body much of what is put on it.  It would also be wise to wear gloves.  A customer had this to say, ” This stuff should really ship with a box of surgical gloves. The instructions say the dye will wash off skin with repeated washings, but I suspect it really means that once the skin wears away, the dye goes with it.  And if you get it under your fingernails….well, good luck.”

Not the Easiest Bottle to Pour

Some customers commented that the bottle could have been designed better.  Here is one of those comments, “I was not a fan of the bottle. It didn’t pour real cleanly, meaning the stuff dribbles down the side of the bottle. Makes for a real mess. A squeeze bottle, or some sort of pump would have been appreciated, even if it added a few cents to the cost.”

Does Not Wash off All Surfaces the Same

Take care to test surfaces before you apply too much.  And then expect some of this dye to last a long time.  A customer cautioned by saying, “Like others, I did not get the item in the picture on the product page at the time of my order.  The received product was used on multiple surfaces to test.  We noticed weeks later, and after a few rains, that some of the blue remained on some tested surfaces. I would recommend testing all surfaces before a full application.  We tried various stones, wood, sidewalks, concrete, and the ground.  Even the ground remained blue in some areas.  I’m not sure why it didn’t biodegrade or wash with the rain everywhere we tried applying. Some stones had remaining stains and others did not, so I couldn’t even say it washed off from one type of surface vs another.”

No Foil Under Cap so Be Careful When Opening

In addition to some people commenting that this bottle is not easy to pour from, another cautioned that there is no foil under the cap.  This may cause you to spill some on yourself if you are not prepared.  The customer said, “Does not wash off like it says. I had to throw everything, sprayer and all.  I grabbed a bottle to check a table and Bam blue again.  Overspray this stuff isn’t worth it even when I put most of the bottle in it.  And on top of that most bottles have a foil after you take the cap off not this one.  So Bam right on my hands.  Like a bad dream. It’s all over my carpet, sidewalk, patio. Don’t do it trust me.”

This Product Helps You to Not Need as Much Herbicide

The Liquid Harvest Lazer Blue Concentrated Spray Pattern Indicator should help you to not need to apply as much herbicide since you will know exactly where to spray.  This will save you money on herbicide and also save your ground from putting too much unnecessary poison down.  A customer commented, “I didn’t know how useful this would become.  Stop yourself from applying herbicides multiple times to the same plant. The color shows where you’ve already sprayed.  The color only lasts a few days, then it is gone.  Really useful, I suspect it will pay for itself because I won’t be spraying the same plant more than once.”

You May Not Need as Much as Directions Say

According to people who used this product, you may not need as much as the directions say.  If you use less, this will make your purchase go much further, which is a good thing.  One customer had this to say,  “You really only need half as much as directed.  After the first batch of mix as instructed, I used half the 8oz bottle in the next 15 gallons of spray.  Easily could see where application went.  Instructed strength was REALLY BLUE. It took a while to rinse away and some of my concrete is still bluish where overspray hit.  Would recommend, helps avoid over application wasting spray dope.”

Good Price

The customer comments on price were positive.  Also remember that this product should help you to not need to buy as much herbicide because you will know exactly where to spray.  Here is one of the many positive customer comments on price, “Love the product.  Reasonably priced and effective.  Will be ordering more.”
