Item Specifics

The Big Rootz All Purpose Potting Soil pH Adjusted and Enriched has been carefully formulated and pH tested.  It is made to meet the needs of professional growers, but it can be easily used for anyone.  It provides nutrients and water uptakes so that your plant can thrive.  This product can be used for indoor plants, outdoor greenhouses, or you can add it to existing soil.  It is natural and organic.  This blend contains peat, triple-washed coir, worm casting, and compost.  It has been enriched with mycorrhizae to increase root growth.

Dense

This soil is more dense than some of the other potting soils on the market.  Here is how one customer described it, “I’m currently using this soil on some exotic plants we’re putting in for a patio landscaping project. The soil is extremely dense and you can tell straight away, this is not your typical Miracle Grow potting soil. This Bigrootz soil packs in planters well, but is also airy enough to allow excess water to drain off, while retaining the perfect moisture levels.”

Price

The price is higher on this soil than many of the similar soils on the market.  Here is a customer response on the price, “It’s a little more pricey than some of the mass produced soils out there, but it’s obvious from working with it, the quality is much better. Our plants seem to be responding to the transplants extremely well using this soil, now we’re hoping for some great results when they flower in a couple of months.”

  1. Hi, Michael Guzman! Plants consume the available nutrients in the potting soil within about six weeks, even if you’re using high-quality potting soil or compost. In the additives, you can add lime for raising soil PH and reducing acidity, Sulfur for lowering soil pH, and increasing acidity, and Gypsum to improve the aeration of compacted soil to help it drain more efficiently, and compost one of the best soil-building amendments to add to garden beds.
