Item Specifics

The Noodlehead Flexible Lawn and Garden Sprinkler allows you to control the spraying of only that which you want watered.  It is designed to conserve your water by not spraying streets, sidewalks, buildings, windows, people or vehicles.  If you’ve been plagued by brown spots, the Noodlehead Flexible Lawn and Garden Sprinkler may be just the remedy that you need.  Simply point more noodles at them and watch the brown spots turn back to green lawn.  This sprinkler can adapt to any shape or pattern that you can imagine.  This sprinkler is perfect for flowerbeds, side yards, lawns, patios, courtyards, vegetable and herb gardens.

Great for Kids Sprinkler

Not only is the name of the Noodlehead Flexible Lawn and Garden Sprinkler fun for kids, but the sprinkler performance stacks up as entertaining for kids too.  A customer had this to say about the kid-friendly factor of this sprinkler, “I can’t review this as a serious garden sprinkler, as I bought it for a backyard sprinkler for my five year old daughter and the 2 year old next door neighbor to play in. As to that purpose, it works perfectly!”

Very Inexpensive

The price was a selling point for many of the customers.  You really can’t beat the price.  It isn’t top quality, but you also won’t be investing much of your hard earned cash if you go with this sprinkler.

Spike Is Included to Keep It Secure

The included spike is designed to keep this little sprinkler in place.  The spike does a good job of what it was designed to do.  A customer explained, “It’s very frustrating to have a sprinkler constantly flipping to one side or the other. With this unit…there is no worry of that. The spike keeps it just where you put it.”

Not Durable

Unfortunately, but expected with the low price, The Noodlehead Flexible Lawn and Garden Sprinkler is not very durable.  For some people, it worked great for awhile and then broke.  Most of the comments coming in about this sprinkler breaking, stated that a noodle broke on it.

The following comment is typical of the comments on breakage, “This is my third Noodlehead sprinkler. I love the design for the small planter boxes I have on my deck and walkway. The first one lasted for years until it was accidentally trampled. The second didn’t make it through last summer without a broken noodle. This one arrived today and as soon as I took it out of the package, on of the noodles was broken. It’s too bad, really. It’s a terrific idea, but the plastic lining for the noodles is too brittle. I’m done with this product. No more noodleheads for me.”

Not Easily Adjustable

Unfortunately, the fun aspect of this sprinkler is the main attractant.  People who tried to adjust and fine tune it to spray in certain areas of their yards, were very frustrated.  The noodles seem to have a mind of their own.  The greatest asset of this sprinkler is that it is fun for kids, but not so fun for adults who want it to adjust to spray lawns exactly how they want it.

A customer explains the problems he had with trying to adjust this sprinkler, “Adjustable? Yes, it’s adjustable however, the adjustable fingers don’t stay where you bend them and one has to turn the water on and off, then on and off, then on and off many times to finally get the patter you want! Unless you want to water for hours, the time it takes to adjust, adjust, and adjust; one could simply do the watering by hand.”

Pros

  • plus Great price
  • plus Fun for kids
  • plus The included spike keeps it in place

Cons

  • close Hard to adjust for lawn or garden precision watering.

Noodlehead Flexible Lawn & Garden Sprinkler Conclusion

The Noodlehead Flexible Lawn and Garden Sprinkler is best used as a fun sprinkler for kids or anyone who wants to play around in a sprinkler.  If you are wanting a sprinkler for precision watering of a lawn or garden, I would keep shopping.  While some people were able to adjust it exactly how they wanted to, most became frustrated.  This is an inexpensive sprinkler mostly made for some fun on hot days.

Common Questions

Here are some top questions that I found for people considering buying a Noodlehead Flexible Lawn & Garden Sprinkler.

  • chevron-circle-right Is this fine spray suitable for just seeded grass that doesn’t need deep watering but constant moisture?  This sprinkler isn’t necessarily designed for that application.  Each noodle sprays a fairly hard stream of water which is good for covering distance but not for creating a light misting. For a just seeded lawn I would use one of those old fashioned arch type sprayers that kids used to play in in the 80’s.
  • chevron-circle-right Does this fit a standard hose or do I need an adapter?  This sprinkler is designed to fit a standard hose.
  • chevron-circle-right Is there a spike to stick in the ground which would allow this item to stay in place? If so what material is it made of?  Yes there is a spike. It’s about 4 or 5 inches long and is made of plastic.
