This heater has a 5,200 BTU heat output. The patented heat exchanger utilizes HMS Technology that combines humidity in the room to provide soft and safe heat without reducing oxygen or humidity.
The small and convenient size of the Heat Storm Preston Classic Space Heater makes this a perfect space heater for any room in the house. Optional castors make it easy to move this heater from room to room. It also has a energy efficient mode, which reduces wattage from 1,500 to 750.
A built in thermostat with LED display shows what the ambient temperature is and also helps regulate the temperature efficiently. An remote control that is included allows you to control the temperature very easily.

Great for Sheds or One Room Small Buildings
The Heat Storm Preston Classic Space Heater performs well for one small one room areas. Here a customer talks about how well it works in his shed, “Works great! I bought it for a 10×16 shed, and we are in the frigid north. This winter has been a test for sure! I was able to set it low enough, as it’s a work and storage space and not a work space. Thermostat down to 45 degrees; I set it at 48, and it stays consistent between 48-50. Safe, low intensity heat, no worry about burning or fire threats. Very satisfied with this purchase!”
Small Size but Throws Off a Lot of Heat
The Heat Storm Preston Classic Space Heater is not a big sized heater. However it does a great job of heating for it’s size. Here a customer reports, “First — don’t let the small size fool you. This works nicely in my open living room / dining room area (about 650 sq ft total). When I plugged it in, the temperature in the room was 53 degrees as shown on the LED display. You set the preferred temperature on the unit display or with the remote (the initial default is 72 degrees), and I set mine to 70. The unit provides a gentle heat — not blistering hot like most heaters — but it definitely does the trick. This is a fairly large room with 10′ ceilings but within 30 minutes or so it was comfortable and the unit turned itself off (it continues to blow for a few minutes to cool down the heating element).”

It has certainly lived up to all of my expectations. Just set the thermostat at the desired temperature and this heater does a fantastic job of heating the entire lower level. I was skeptical about this product being able to heat that much area but it lives up to its claim of ability to heat up to 1000 sq ft. And it looks nice as well. Plus it has rollers so you can move it quite easily to any area you want. I read a lot of reviews about different heaters before I made my purchase. Glad that I did and glad that I chose this one!”
Attractive
One of the first things I liked about this heater was how it looked. Of course looks mean nothing if the heater doesn’t work well. But this heater did get great reviews as far as how much heat it threw off for it’s size. So the looks are just an added bonus. I like how it looked like a piece of furniture. Apparently, so did many of the other customers who left reviews like this customer did, “First off, this is an attractive piece of furniture. It doesn’t look like you have an electric heater in the room. The design, features, and remote are pure, simple, and easily used.”

It has 5,200 BTU heat output which makes it perfect for heating 1,000 square feet or less. This is a great heater for a small office, or shed. thinking of getting this heater for my farm store.
